Shawn K. Gaston, Managing Member

A third generation West Texas Oil man, born & raised in Midland, Texas.  After graduating from Texas Tech University, he worked the next decade as an independent Landman, traveling through Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska & Colorado. To expand his industry knowledge, he worked for a full service water logistics company. Working closely with drilling & completions teams provided great insight into the complexities of actually producing oil.  He then worked as a landman for a Barnett Shale operator.  After brokering several mineral & royalty deals, he ventured out on his own and formed Apilado Resources, LLC to purchase and hold high value, oil heavy reserves.

Shawn is proud Board Member of the National Association of Royalty Owners - Texas, a Member of the Permian Basin Landman Association and the American Association of Petroleum Landmen.
